The City of Union and the Union Chamber of Commerce sponsored an inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday night in downtown Union.
The ceremony was a project created by Girl Scouts EmaLee Robinson and MariAnna Martin of Union, who planned the event, pitched the idea to the chamber and obtained sponsors for the event.
