Immediately after holding their Budget Hearing on Aug. 1, the Newton County School District Board of Trustees held a brief special called meeting where they discussed the need of an additional kindergarten classroom, approved hiring a kindergarten teacher and approve d superintendent Brooke Sibley’s contract and pay structure.
