The Lake softball team seems to be getting hot at the right time, especially at the plate.
The Lady Hornets battered Mize last week, scoring 38 runs and banging out 38 hits as they swept the Lady Bulldogs, winning 20-6 on Friday and 18-2 on Saturday.
