And on July 3, area patriots and fireworks enthusiasts will get the opportunity the be the first to celebrate our great nation as Turkey Creek Water Park hosts its annual Independence Day Fireworks Show. The fireworks show is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.

Newton Municipal One of 20 Districts to Receive $24M in Grants for State Invested Pre-K programs

Newton Municipal School District was one of twenty state school districts to be awarded grants to implement or continue State invested Pre-K (SIP) programs. For renewing their SIP program, NMSD will receive a total $750,000 in grant money for a three-year period, divided into $250,000 per year.
