The Union Lady Yellowjackets saw their season come to an end last week in the third round of the Class 2A playoffs.
Union lost 8-2 to East Union on Thursday before falling 7-0 on Saturday to see their season come to an end.
Union finished the season with a 20-12 record.
East Union 7, Union 0
The Lady Yellowjackets didn’t have a hit as the Lady Urchins competed the two-game sweep with a shutout win on Saturday.
The game was scoreless through four innings before East Union scored two in the fifth and five in the sixth.
East Union had nine hits and took advantage of two errors. Alanee Wheeler had two walks while Maggie Atkinson and LaCie Bishop each walked.
Wheeler pitched all six innings and gave up seven runs with only two of them earned on nine hits while striking out seven.

The Lady Urchins took an early lead and took a six-run lead in the first game of the series on Thursday.
East Union scored three in the third and two in the fourth and led 5-0. Union scored one in the fifth and sixth while East Union finished with three in the sixth.
Union had six hits in the contest as Tiara Campbell tripled and drove in a run. Abigail Cleveland also doubled and scored a run while Destiny Moulds singled and had an RBI. Raleigh Dickerson singled and scored while Alanee Wheeler also singled.
Wheeler started ion the circle and pitched 5 1/3 innings and gave up seven runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out four. Aubrie Coleman pitched the last 1 2/3 innings and gave up one run on two hits and two walks.
