Services for Willie Albert Evans were held, March 29, 2025; 11 am, at Union Chapel Church, 141 McGowan Rd. Lawrence, MS 39336, with Pastor Steve Edwards officiating.
Willie Albert Evans was born to the late Mr. William Evans Jr and Mrs. Elizabeth Moncrief Evans in Newton County, MS.
He attended Pilate School in Newton, MS. He was a member of Union Chapel Church until his health failed.
On November 24, 1971, he was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Helen Dukes. From this union, four children were born.
Willie Albert Evans leaves to cherish his memories, a loving devoted wife of 53 years, Mrs. Helen Evans; two sons, Jermaine (Brittany) Evans and Moses (Antoinette) Evans, both of Lawrence, MS; three daughters, Pamela (Glen) Johnson of Newton, MS, Melanie (Quincy) Walker of Lawrence, MS and Shannon (Robert) Evans of Forest, MS; three brothers, Curley Evans, John (Pearline) Evans and David Evans all of Lawrence, MS; two sisters, Betty Brown and Willie Mae Evans of Lawrence, MS; 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends, and a very special nephew, Daniel Evans and Jerome Evans.
