The Union boys picked up two more wins this past week as the posted victories over Newton County and Enterprise in the Sebastopol Tournament last week.
The Yellowjackets then lost in overtime to Lake in the tournament finals.
The Union girls lost a 32-30 heartbreaker to Enterprise and picked up a 38-31 win over Lake for their only win of the week.
Union will host Noxapater on Tuesday and travel to Morton in their only action this week.
Union boys 53, County 33
The Yellowjackets used a big second half to pull away and take a win over Newton County at the Sebastopol Tournament on Thursday.
Union led 18-10 at the end of the first period and 25-19 at the half. But the Jackets outscored the Cougars 12-6 in the third and 16-6 in the fourth to take the win.
P.J. Gage led Union with 13 points while Mark Jones had 12 point. J.T. Vance also had 10 points.
Lamar Morgan led County with 12 points while Josiah Cleveland had five points.
Leake Co. boys 57, Union 44
The Gators broke open a close game in the fourth to take a 13-point win over the Yellowjackets on Thursday.
Leake led 12-11 at the end of the first and 30-23 at the half. After each team scored 15 points in the third period, Leake pulled away in the fourth to take the win.
J.T. Vance led Union with 17 points while P.J. Gage had 10 points. Mark Jones added seven points.
Leake Co. girls 51, Union 39
Leake used a big fourth period to take a 12-point win over Union on Tuesday.
Leake led 12-9 at the end of the first and 23-22 at the half. Union outscored Leake 14-13 in the third to tie the score 36-36 going into the fourth. But Leake used a 15-3 advantage in the fourth to take the win.
Eryanna Mason and Kamyia Russell each had nine points apiece while Ansley Rigby had eight points and Madison Buckley chipped in seven.
Union boys 72, Enterprise 56
The Yellowjackets outscored the Bulldogs 28-13 in the second and used that advantage to take a 16-point win over the Bulldogs.
Enterprise led 13-11 at the end of the first before Union stormed back and led 39-26 at the half.
J.T. Vance and Mark Jones each had 14 points apiece while Bryce Young had 10 points and P.J. Gage had eight points.
Enterprise girls 32, Union 30
The Lady Bulldogs broke open a close game in the fourth to take a two-point win over the Lady Yellowjackets.
Enterprise led 12-10 at the end of the first and 19-17 at the half. Union took the lead in the third as they outscored Enterprise 11-3 for a 28-22 advantage. But Enterprise outscored Union 10-2 in the fourth to take the win.
Ansley Rigby led Union with 10 points while Eryanna Mason and Trinity Lambert each had seven points apiece.
Union girls 38, Lake 31
The Lady Yellowjackets outscored Lake in every period to come away with a seven-point win over the Lady Hornets at the Sebastopol Tournament on Saturday.
Union led 12-11 at the end of the first and 16-14 at the half. Union outscored Lake 13-9 in the third to take a 29-2 lead into the fourth.
Ansley Rigby led Union with 20 points while Keirra Russell had eight points.
