Nena Hammond is the new executive director of the Newton Chamber of Commerce.
She attended school in Lake all the way from kindergarten through the twelfth grade.
Hammond, originally from Lawrence, stated that she enjoyed growing up there.
After high school, Hammond worked for Lazy Boy for 16 years.
