The Union Middle School Pageant was held April 10 at the Huff Auditorium on the campus of East Central Community College. The seventh and eighth grade winners are, from left, Erica Lay – Beauty; Landrey Hanna – Beauty; Addisyn Fox – Most Beautiful; Carsyn Capps – Beauty; and Posey Edmondson – Beauty.

Services for Mr. Ralph Gardner were held 11 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Burial was in the County Line Cemetery. Dr. Jon Martin and Rev. Rusty Walton officiated.
Visitation was held 10:30-11 a.m. prior to the service on Monday at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union.

Newton High School can add two more state champion track athletes to its long and impressive list.
Newton’s Erin Ware won the girls 300-meter hurdles and was second in the 100-meter hurdles while Rayvion Nettles won the Class 2A high jump.
