The City of Newton will have a fall citywide cleanup day from 9 a.m. to noon November 16.
This will be the second cleanup date that the city has sponsored this year, and Alderwoman Linda Wash would like to see it continue in the future with two cleanups throughout the year.
“We invite everyone to come out and help us clean up the city,” Wash said.
Volunteers who wish to participate can arrive at City Hall at 9 a.m. on the cleanup day. The volunteers will divide up into groups and then will be assigned an area of the city to pick up trash.
