Basketball: Union Boys Secure First Win, Girls Fall in Tight Contest

Although it’s been a rough season for the Union boys basketball team, it got a little better on Friday when the Yellowjackets picked up their first win of the season with a 54-29 win over Pisgah.

The Lady Yellowjackets weren’t as fortunate as they dropped a 53-52 contest to the Lady Dragons.

Newton Muncipal School District: Outgoing School board Reflects

Congratulations Union High Cheer for Back-To-Back State Titles

The Union High School Cheer Team claimed their second consecutive Mississippi State Championship in the 2A Varsity Game Day division at the 2024 MHSAA Cheer-Dance Championships. Held at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, the team impressed with a strong performance that secured their top spot among competitors in the division.
