Christmas: 9-year-old creates digital drawings for holidays

When 9-year-old Bennett Hollingsworth came home from Sunday school she explained to her mother that her class was praying for Ella Phillips, a student that attends her school who has been struggling this year with medical issues. She continued to tell her mother that she just felt in her heart that she needed to do something for her.

Hollingsworth, Jones named HOBY ambassadors

This year’s HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) Ambassador for Newton County High School was announced by Decatur Woman’s Progressive Club member Pam Keith. Bella Grace Jones will serve as the HOBY Ambassador and Charley Hollingsworth will serve as the 1st Alternative HOBY Representative.
