Union Community News: Neshoba fair time

This week, people from all across the state have flocked to the Neshoba County Fairgrounds. The fair is an annual tradition that Mississippians love and enjoy. The Neshoba County Fair began in 1889 as an agricultural fair known as the Coldwater Fair.

Aleah McMullan, Distinguished Young Woman of Newton County, was a Fitness preliminary Winner at the state program in Meridian, MS July 13-15. Lamar County’s Sadie Perkins was named the overall winner of the 2024 Distinguished Young Women of Mississippi Program.
