In just their third year, the Newton County volleyball team put together in incredible season that culminated in winning the Class 4A state championship.
Led by second-year coach Matthew Beasley, the Lady Cougars went 33-4 on the season and dominated Purvis 3-0 in the championship series to claim the title.
