Clay becomes first UHS D-1 signee in three decades

Clay became the first Union High School football player to sign with a Division I football program since the 1980s when he inked with Southern Mississippi on Wednesday.

BASKETBALL: Union Lady Yellowjackets continue unbeaten streak

The Union Lady Yellowjackets stayed unbeaten last week with three wins.

The Lady Yellowjackets beat Lamar School 41-32, Leake County 41-12 and Philadelphia 53-50.

Meanwhile, the Union boys dropped three contests as they fell 51-41 to Lamar, 84-28 to Leake County and 51-12 to Philadelphia.
