Congrats to all of the seniors, and schools

This week, we will see graduations for Newton County, Union and Newton school districts. It is a signal that the end of the school year is upon us.

We believe that all of our districts overall have had a pretty good year especially when it comes to athletics, band, cheerleading and other extra curricular activities and clubs.

Our Opinion: Newton shows out

On April 9, the Loose Caboose Arts and Crafts Festival in downtown Newton attracted one of the largest crowds ever.

There were 133 vendors, 128 classic cars and a wall of people that covered Main Street and Church Street all day on Saturday.
