Sebastopol 12 U All-Stars Headed to Dizzy Dean World Series

The Sebastopol 12U Boys All-Star Team recently competed in the North State Dizzy Dean Tournament and ended the weekend as North State Runner Ups. The team will compete in the Dizzy Dean World Series in Southaven, MS beginning on June 26.

Local Teens Top MHSRA Team Roping Event, Advance to Nationals

Union’s Brayden Welch and Decatur’s Joiner Peoples recently who the Mississippi High School Rodeo Association team roping competition in Hattiesburg last week. The pair will advance to the National Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming in July. Welch is a rising senior at Leake Academy, while Peoples is a rising senior at Newton County.
