Baseball: Hornets Fifth Consecutive Victory

Lake took a 10-4 win over Puckett on Monday and then beat homestanding Sebastopol 18-3 on Tuesday.

Tennis: Union rallies to have perfect week

After losing two of three games to start the season, the Union Lady Yellowjackets won three straight games last week.

Union opened the week with a 17-0 over Kemper County on Tuesday and then two games on Saturday, beating Harrison Central 3-2 and Taylorsville 15-0.

Softball: Lady Bobcats sweep Russell, Clarkdale

The Sebastopol Lady Bobcats continued to get strong pitching last week.

The Lady Bobcats gave up only five hits in two games as they shut out Russell Christian 11-0 on Tuesday and then beat Clarkdale 9-2 on Thursday.

Sebastopol (6-1) is scheduled to host region opponent Philadelphia at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
