NCHS hosts Open House to help parent-teacher relationship

Newton County High School threw open its doors for Open House Thursday to allow parents and family members a chance to meet with their child’s teacher and see what NCHS has to offer.

Area has fun-filled week to offer local trick-or-treaters

Halloween is almost here, and Newton County towns are gearing up to host some spooky events. This year’s festivities will kick off Monday with CMRC’s Fall Festival in Newton.

Emily Pugh, communications director with Newton Chamber of Commerce, said the Fall Festival will run from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. and offer a fun time for everyone.
