BASEBALL: Yellowjackets bounce back from two tough losses with dominating win

The Union Yellowjackets managed just one win this past week while dropping a pair of close contests.

Union lost 3-2 to Raleigh on Monday and 8-6 to Stringer on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets finished the week with a 14-1 win over Raleigh.

SOFTBALL: Sebastopol gives up 1 run to Union, Noxapater

The Sebastopol Lady Bobcats stayed unbeaten as they picked up two more wins last week.

The Lady Bobcats used some dominant pitching by Neely Wolverton as they beat Noxapater 22-1 and Union 2-0.

SOFTBALL: Lady ‘Jackets rebound from Sebastopol loss

The Union Lady Yellowjackets won two out of three games last week, including a sweep of division foe Philadelphia.

After a 2-0 loss to Sebastopol, Union hammered Philadelphia 15-0 and 18-3 to finish out the week.

BASEBALL: Yellowjackets sweep Saturday doubleheader

The Union Yellowjackets grabbed two wins last week in their only action.

Union swept a doubleheader from Bay Springs as they beat the Bulldogs 8-4 and 17-1 on Friday.

Union, now 4-2 on the season, is scheduled to host Stringer on Tuesday and Raleigh on Friday.
