A Union resident is going public to ask whoever is shooting her home with a pellet gun to stop.
Tina Seals moved into her new home on South Decatur Street over spring break. Since then, she claims someone has been shooting her home with a pellet gun multiple times per week.
“They’re still shooting our house,” she said. “They haven’t stopped.”
Seals said her home, windows and vehicles have all been struck. Union Police Department has come by multiple times, she said, but with so many trees on her property, neither she nor the police haven’t been able to see who the alleged shooter might be.
“They’re trying to run it down, but it’s difficult,” she said.
Union Police Chief Billy Pat Walker said officers are investigating the situation. Officers have spoken with neighbors and surrounding residents, who have responsibility, he said.
“We’ve been down there numerous times,” he said. “We’re still looking into it.”
Something has dinged up Seals’ vehicles and home, Walker said, but officers have not yet been able to confirm a pellet gun was used to cause the damage.
By going public with her story, Seals said she hopes whomever is responsible will stop.
“Sometimes a little embarrassment, shine a little light on it and it’ll stop,” she said.
Anyone with information about the situation is asked to call Union Police Department at 601-774-9211.
