A Union man was killed in a two-vehicle crash east of Union on Hwy. 492 around 7 p.m. Thursday night.
Neshoba County Coroner John Stephens identified the victim as Joseph Benjamin Brewer, 43, of Union. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Stephens said he was driving a small Ford Ranger pickup when it collided with another full-size pickup.
“According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the other vehicle crossed the center line and hit his vehicle head on,” Stephens said. “He was wearing his seatbelt.”
The identity of additional victims was not available as of press time Tuesday.
John E. Stephens Funeral Home in Philadelphia is handling the arrangements for Brewer. Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at High Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
