Falcons fly past Hornets

The Lake Hornets saw their football season come to an end last week in the third round against Velma Jackson.

But it wasn’t without a fight.

Velma Jackson pulled away late with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to take a 27-6 win over Lake in the third round of the Class 2A playoffs.
