Members of the Newton High School Class of 2022 received diplomas on Friday, May 20.

The top 10 students included: Amyah Jones -Valedictorian, Alesha Hollis - Salutatorian, Caylan Goodman, Jashonna Nicholson, Francesca Pham, Ja’Ryiah Bonner, Zamarion Bender, Jaelin Drummond and Samone Jones.

Graduation day is here: Student speakers offer encouragement for future

The senior classes at Union, Newton and Newton County high schools held their graduations last week to celebrate the nearly 200 students who completed their grade school careers.

During the graduations, several of the speakers offered their fellow graduates inspiration for the future.
