Ogletree shoots 67 to qualify for Sony Open

Union’s Andy Ogletree got 2022 off to a good start.

The former Union and Georgia Tech standout was one of four players who qualified for a spot in the Sony Open in Hawaii. The event was held at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu.

BASKETBALL: Lake girls take tournament

The Lake Lady Hornets had another good week on the hardwoods, picking up three wins and the Scott County Tournament trophy.

After opening the week with a 49-40 win over South Pike in the Newton Tournament, Lake beat Scott Central 49-22 in the semifinals and Morton 34-30 in the finals to win the tournament.
