Three area teams had first-round playoff matchups scheduled for Monday.
Two of those seasons came to an end on Monday as Lake lost 57-54 to West Lincoln and Newton County lost 43-37 to Moss Point.
Newton was the only “winner” of the night, as they took a forfeit win over Loyd Star, who is in quarantine.
